Pilot - Other Models

We recommend both Lambrou's and Nakazono's Fountain Pens of The World as the best resources for the output of the better pens of Pilot. Please review those books for a better overview.

Supposedly there are four models in this line with silvery metal cap and barrel and gold trim. The nib is exactly the same as that on the Custom.

Silvern

Most think of the larger torpedo-shaped silver pens as the Silvern. They are the Art Craft Silvern and are an evolution of the original Pilot Elite. Silvern was the name originally given to this series of pens in 1968. The two below are a photoengraved paisley pattern and one of the Egyptian characters models.

Makie

Contributed by berkeleyshanghai or FPN, this 1970s Elite platform makie features a rooster by a youngish Yoshida. Stunning gold work.

This 1964 makie was recently seen.

This interesting ArtCraft Silvern was discovered on the internet.

As was this one. Appears to be silver splatter over barrel and cap with lacquer applied afterward.
